With more than 30 years in corporate, namely in the banking and financial services industry, Amy Hing-Young has a depth of knowledge and experience across the full range of business management issues. Her special areas of expertise are in strategic planning, operations management, contracts and negotiation, project management, outsourcing and change management.

Amy graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce Degree (with merit) majoring in Marketing from the University of New South Wales, and has a Master of Business Administration from Monash University, Victoria. She is Fellow of the Financial Services Institute of Australasia.

A career banker, Amy was Executive Manager Strategic Planning of CBA Financial Services, Head of Strategic Planning of Retail Banking and Head of Cash Strategy and Operations of the Commonwealth Bank of Australia, and has project managed a number of change management projects including organisational restructure, process improvement, outsourcing and large systems implementation.

In her many roles in the Commonwealth Bank, Amy has trained staff as well as presenting and training to external parties, including the RAAF and the NSW Police, as part of their management training.

Amy’s personal interests include art, archaeology, travel and writing.
